About Spilled Milk

“Spilled Milk” is an American humor column by William Lucas Walker that  originally appeared in a privately-distributed newsletter for dads of the Pop Luck Club, a Southern California organization for gay fathers.

In 2012, journalist Bruce Kluger forwarded a couple of these newsletter pieces to editors Arianna Huffington and Roy Sekoff at the Huffington Post. Later that day they offered Walker and “Spilled Milk” a national platform.

The column made its national debut in the Huffington Post on February 8, 2012 with the publication of “Prop 8: The Color of Pee-Pee” on the HuffPost front page.

Making history as the first recurring column by a gay dad to appear in a mainstream American publication, “Spilled Milk” quickly became a hit with readers.

“Spilled Milk” is being adapted as a family comedy for television.
